2019 SUPERSONIC TRANSPORTERS
Introduction of 2019 Officers
Rebecca McGonigle [email protected] has been elected President of the team. "My family has been part of the team for 7 years. I have two girls, Charlotte (11) and Corianne (9), who have loved every minute as part of this team. I have served as Secretary of this team previously and as President of another volunteer organization in the community. I have a passion for our community and swim team. My favorite part of swim team is the sense of community between the parents and swimmers alike."
Brandon Whitacre [email protected] has been elected Treasurer. “This summer will mark our 9th summer swimming for Sully Station. We have three boys Tyler (13), Tucker (11) and Hunter (5) who all are active on the team. We joined the summer swim team as a way to interact with our neighbors and for the boys to stay active during the summer - little did we know that would turn into a love of the sport for the entire family. My favorite part of summer swim is watching the mini stars in their annual lollipop race.”
Jenny Parlato [email protected] has been elected Secretary. “My husband Robert and I and our two kids John (16) and Rachel (12) have been members of Country Club Manor for almost 20 years and members of Sully Station for the past 10 years. This upcoming season will be Rachel’s 5th season on the swim team. You can usually find me timing the B meets and occasionally the A meets. Robert is typically in the stands cheering the team and Rachel on. My favorite thing about the team is the camaraderie amongst the kids regardless of age! “
Laura Mozeleski [email protected] has been elected A Meet Rep “My family has been involved with the swim team for 12 years. My two daughters, Elise and Leah, look forward to it all year! In the "off season" I am a developmental swim coach and high school swim and dive parent coordinator. I have volunteered as Sully A team rep or assistant team rep for 7 years now and I am always striving to help kids and families love this team as much as we have.”
Lisa Campet [email protected] has been elected B Meet Rep. “Hello! My name is Lisa Campet and I am the current B Meet Rep for Sully Station. My family and I have been members of the Sully Swim team since 2012. I have three children. Ben is 12, Luke is 10 and Annabelle is 8. I look forward to meeting our new families and reconnecting with our veteran ones!”
Now that you have a sense of who we are, where are we going?
- Our swim team is a blast during the season and we will be extending that fun to include spirit nights at local restaurants in the coming months during the off-season, brought to us by the new social committee.
- We will be seeking corporate sponsors to invest in the team and help us make some of the capital purchases that need to be made including but not limited to practice flags, announcer equipment, and lane line reel replacements.
- We will also be partnering with the Sully Station HOA to host some fun community events.
We are looking forward to the season ahead and working hard behind the scenes to get it started. You can find the agendas and minutes to our meetings on the team website at https://www.gosully.com/
